Server was slow and it felt like they seemed entitled. Then we found out that there was 20 % required tip on our bill and a surcharge for using a credit card.
Garbage Burger was good.
Not coming back.

I’ve been going here for decades while in La Jolla village. The food is still reliable. Fireplace was lit on a cold day. Cozy spot to eat at. Seems like it has declined a little since my last visit several years ago. Noticeably poor house keeping and there was a smell of stale beer in the air.

The deep dish pizza was phenomenal. It was a bar during a ballgame so it was noisy. Not our type of thing, but everyone was having a great time and that was fun to see. The waiter was funny and attentive. I really enjoyed myself and would get another pizza in a Chicago minute.

Was recommended by the hotel staff for the fish and chips. I wasn’t disappointed at all! Fresh beer battered cod, but the fries stole the show. The server recommended a local craft beer that paired excellently. First time beer, won’t be the last!
