8/27/25 - The best old fashion I’ve ever had! Excellent. Service was great. We stayed at the Carleton Hotel for 7 nights (attached to the property), and had a night cap here for 6 of those. Are there twice. The food was good and very reasonably priced.

I stopped here after a long day of studying on a Sunday evening for some appetizers and drinks. I started with the oysters and an extra dirty martini, & it was such a great combo. Moved on to the crab cake and the salad that it was paired …

Sports bar with cool Chicago memorabilia on the walls. Indoor and outdoor seating. Fantastic drink list with lots of beer and cocktail options. Huge fan of all the seafood options! Oysters, lobster roll, fried shrimp, they’ve got a great variety. Service was great and very friendly. Don’t feel too bad for Poor Phil!

Popped into Poor Phil’s to meet up with friends last weekend. The patio was perfect! Crab sandwich was tasty although there was a piece of skin (?) that had a papery texture that I didn’t love. The server was pleasant and upbeat, and the prosecco was tasty. Super chill neighborhood spot that I’d def come back to!

Still an Oak Park stand-by, but getting a bit tired after many years. Here’s a radical idea— drop the sports theme. Mike Ditka on the wall? The man who said he was smarter than Obama? Really?

The draw here is two-fold: a quaint outdoor cafe and a menu built around seafood (oysters/lobster/shrimp/crab) and bar fare (burgers/pizza/fried everything). Tonight it's the outdoor cafe made more magical by the perfect weather, …

I had high hopes for these buffalo wings, but unfortunately they didn’t meet expectations. They looked and tasted more like pre-cooked frozen wings you’d find at a grocery store rather than fresh, restaurant-quality. The flavor was …

Food tasted fresh and flavorful. Great service! Lots of seafood options in the menu. Little pricey and decent portion sizes. Street parking. Recommended!

Great local place. Was craving chicken fingers and found great chicken fingers. There were a bunch of families and kids there and everyone seemed really surprised about it which was funny. Seems like it's normally a low key spot.

Fun bar and restaurant. Our appetizer was crunchy, tender and full of flavor. The draws from tap were extensive and rewarding. Lively place for locals and visitors. Friendly staff, good service, plenty of seating and decent prices.
