Haight Ashbury's BEST hidden gem bar. The menu is surprisingly good too. Ample of seating and pool tables at the far end. Used to be a favourite lower haight spot. Great for a DAYTIME or evening hangout during / after the Haight Ashbury …

Run, don't walk, to Mad Dog's back room. They've got pinball! 5 or 6 upright pinball machines, on loan from Free Gold Watch. A great place to grab a beer and play some pinball.

I really like the fried pickles. I came here during the day and the server was so nice and friendly. I came here at night and the short Hispanic guy behind the bar working at night was SO RUDE. …

At first, I thought I might've just been overreacting, but after reading other reviews, I realized I wasn't alone. The bartender, who looked unwell, ignored my girlfriend and me for over 10 minutes. We eventually had to flag down another …

I was credit card frauded here, as were the other 2 people I was with. Receipt was doctored to add an extra $10 to an already fairly generous tip. Also, food looked awful and not anything like you’d get in Ireland. Will have to find somewhere new to watch the football.

Great sports watching bar with lots of different seating options and diversions: pinball, arcade, billiards, trivia night, etc. Surprisingly good food and menu - probably the best in SF for a sports bar.

Spot is great, decent service, but they sell 12oz draft beers at full price. You do not get a full pint when purchasing a draft beer. It is a 12oz glass. Didn't realize until we got a can and poured it in...what do you know

I really like this neighborhood pub. It has two sections, with the front having more bustle and chatter. During big events its standing room only. Staff is friendly and efficient. You could not ask for a better pub experience.

Food was excellent. The vibe was excellent. We got the deep fried pickles and the chicken club. Both were amazing. The deep-fried pickles were like whole slices and wedges of pickles that were fried very yummy. We also ordered the chicken …

We stopped in for lunch before heading to Golden Gate Park. There was plenty of seating in the main bar area, as well as a back room with more seating. …

The place to go if you are a local or a visitor who loves sports watching at the bar. We joined the Barça fans for.one of the matches and the mood was great, friendly, fun and welcoming. The menu offers some basic classics, like fish and …

Mad Dog in the Fog isn’t wildly Irish beyond a few flags, but it’s a cracking spot for daytime drinking and watching sport. Bit rough round the edges, but all the better for it—pool, basketball hoops, and even a piano if you fancy a quick …

I came here today with friends visiting from out of state, and we had planned our entire day around stopping at this bar. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. …

A fun place to hang out with friends with good music, delicious food, and reasonably priced food. This place also has good open window seating for people watching on Haight Street. The Bammer and Mash was delicious. Both my best friend and …
