The Daily Bar & Grill is further from Lincoln Square's center of gravity, but that's what makes it so appealing. You can sit at a table under a tree in a quiet patio area. The salads and burgers are excellent. Be sure to try their classic root beer float.

Love the vibe here. Casual and very open, not a huge place. Good list of beers for only $5-6. Nice selection of food options - pizza, sandwiches, your typical bar fare. Seems not as crowded as some of the other "hot spots" along Lincoln ave

Refresh for 2025...What a great patio combined with tasty food, and very attentive wait staff and I can't do anything less than 5 stars. This is an unexpected sleeper in the neighborhood. Walked by here countless of times and glad we made …

This is our favorite neighborhood spot - the spacious patio is amazing with a big tree right in the middle that provides lots of shade. Staff is always friendly, and the food is great. My favorite is the Sante Fe salad which is huge, the …

I've always liked The Daily Grill. Tonight they outdid themselves. I stopped in for a solo dinner and they were busy for an early winter Tuesday evening. But I got a comfortable seat and lovely service. Then there was a glitch--somehow my …

Let me tell you what…this place is unbelievable!! Incredible bacon cheese burger, cooked to perfection with the best hand-cut homemade fries and house made ranch. The friendliest, most professional service I’ve seen made my trip to Chicago …

Lovely spot in Lincoln Square! It has the most chill patio, maybe because it's shaded with a great tree and not just an addendum on the sidewalk when it's warm out. The bar is relaxed and pleasant too - the staff is always wonderful! Food …

My wife and I have walked past this place a hundred times but never stopped in until tonight. The inside looks really nice, but we decided to eat our meal out on their patio space which is pretty big and open to the sidewalk. They have a …

Early Halloween celebration underway during our stop for dinner. Festive: wait staff in costumes; decorations; vintage rock music over the sound system. The only downer was the overserved female patrons at the bar singing at the top of their lungs. Food was above average. Overall, a nice evening out.

Awesome spot in the heart of Lincoln Square. Outdoor patio dining is great weather permitting. Nice to stop by for a bite and a drink while checking out the shops on Lincoln.

We've eaten here a couple times, and always had great service. Sat in the patio this last time, our server John had spot-on recommendations, was very attentive to our kids needs, and was very friendly and personable. Fish and chips, fish …

I ate here for the first time a few months ago when I visited the Old Town School next door for a St. Patrick's Day concert. I wanted the fish, but not the potatoes, and the server offered to substitute steamed veggies. The fish was great, …

Looking for somewhere to eat after seeing a matinee on 4th of July. One of the few restaurants that is open in the area. My patty melt was not bad. My wife did not like much what she ordered (gumbo). All in all, it has a nice outside sitting and food is normal for bar.

Extremely reasonable and great hospitality. Delicious chicken wrap, Philly cheesesteak, and chocolate martini (surprising). Good selection on tap. Patio is unusually spacious, they do a great job of not overcrowding it. Great experience, will not disappoint
