I’ve heard from friends that Bistro 38 has some amazing food so I decided to try it with my wife. And honestly the food was amazing. I had signature short ribs and it was outstanding. My wife ate the churarasco and she loved it! The place was nice and clean and the service was A+. Will definitely be coming back!

The food at Bistro 38 is sensational!!! Wow. I’m from the Dominican Republic and I was referred this restaurant by a friend that lives in NYC. Let me just say wow! Amazing food! And the owner of the place is a cool person! The ambiance is great. It’s a must go to restaurant if you’re ever in New York.

We specifically had Makayla as our server and she made our dinner so much more special! Her energy was so kind and wonderful and made everything 10x better. Dinner, drinks and desserts after a trip to Hudson yards and before Bryant park was exactly what we needed. Highly recommend the carrot cake!

This was the best meal I had traveling this year. The pork osso buco was unforgettable. My wife’s meal was incredible as well. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. We got to chop it up with the owner for a bit, and even got to talk about our meal with the chef. Amazing experience.

If I owned this restaurant, I would not call a food item, short ribs in this case, the "specialty of the house," when it lacked the typical strong flavor for it. I believe that phrase should be used for a food item that equals or surpasses a high standard.
