Pretty standard hole in the wall dive bar. The layout is kinda broken up with a few small rooms so this isn’t the best place for large groups. They do have a good sized patio in the back with some tables. They call it a beer garden but it’s really just a patio. The beer selection is mediocre but the burgers are actually excellent

Overall a good experience. Burger and quesadillas were both tasty. $18 for the burger was a little high but $16 for the quesadilla was reasonable. Really appreciate the reference to It’s a Wonderful Life if that’s what the owners were going for with the name.

Our guy at the bar was a certified beast. Had a proper symposium here, real mind-meeters-fest if you will. Great side shoot rooms. Guinness is sus at first but presents like a winner. We love it. Go Mets baby.

Cozy and fun . The atmosphere was great enough. The bartender and the waitress was clearly overwhelmed with the size of the crowd in the afternoon, but was both friendly . Convenient located with little back yard and different rooms….

Attempted to visit a couple of Sundays ago, wanted to sit in the bar and watch the games. When bartender noticed my wife was pregnant he said she wasn't allowed to sit in the bar, ¨house rules¨. Having consulted now with our legal counsel, I´ve learned this is an illegal discriminatory move.

Food was well prepared and portion sizes were fair. I felt that the spinach artichoke dip could use more salt. At the same time the chicken fingers seemed too salty. But the atmosphere in the Beer garden in the back was nice and I would recommend it.

Great food and drinks. The atmosphere was reminiscent of an old-school NYC Pub, how i miss those days. The host, Liam, is very attentive to the needs of his customers. Don't miss out on a UES pub experience.

Busy Thursday night after work crowd keeps the small bar in front lively. Excellent prices at happy hour on well drinks and drafts; even though I would die of malaria if i was relying on the quinine in the tonic water. Good prices on apps at the bar. The is a dining room in back and a beer garden even further back.
